This package contains standalone Android driver software for Windows PC to recognize any Xiaomi devices powered with either Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek chipsets. That includes all variant of Xiaomi Redmi, Redmi Note, and all Mi families including Mi Mix and Mi Max. This driver software needs to be installed when your Windows is in test mode or when the Driver Signature Enforcement mechanism have been disabled. Basically you don’t need this driver package if you have installed either Mi Flash tool or Mi Unlock tool.
Install this driver only and if only your Windows computer still cannot recognize your device even those two tools above have been installed.
