This tutorial shows you exactly how you can unlock the MIUI bootloader of Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus (Vince) with device code MEG7 which is the one distributed in Indonesia (TAM), Brazil, India, and some of the Global variants. Some users reported unsuccessful bootloader unlock process, or cannot bind with their Mi Account. Some also reported being stuck at 99% of the procedure. Hence, this workaround is another trick from AndroidFilebox.com to help MEG7 users unlocking the bootloader (UBL mechanism).
This workaround works without having to do the “Test Point” method and without the need of using VPN. Moreover, this method works without binding the device with your Mi Account. Many users reported difficulties in binding their account and in enabling OEM Unlock option in Settings. Now read this article thoroughly and follow the steps carefully.
