The MIUI division of Xiaomi Developers team has rolled out a new updated version of their mobile operating system. Meet MIUI 9.2! Featuring a bunch of enhancement and bugs fixed, this new update is surely a keeper. The overall user interface has been redesigned being simpler. Moreover, the new Mi Mover app now supports data migration restarting which is very handy.
For your information, Xiaomi always rolls out two builds of its ROM: the Fastboot ROM and Recovery ROM. Fastboot ROM is released with the .tgz extension while Recovery ROM is released with the .zip extension. Both builds can be used to do a clean install on your MIUI device but Fastboot ROM is the one if you need to totally reinstall your phone’s Android OS. It is also useful when your phone is bricked or in the bootloop state.
In this page is listed a full direct hotlink to grab MIUI 9.2 v9.2.3.0 Global Stable build for Mi Mix 2 (codename Chiron). The new MIUI 9.2 is available in two builds: Fastboot ROM and Recovery ROM.
