LineageOS v15.1 Android 8.1 Oreo for Zenfone Max Pro M1

Finally you, Zenfone Max Pro M1 owners, can have a taste of Android 8.1.0 Oreo via custom ROM. Download Lineage OS v15.1 unofficial build for the Asus budget phone featuring beast hardware specifications. Cooked by an XDA member known as Shivam Kumar Jha, this unofficial build makes use of X00TD Kernel Source for Asus devices with Snapdragon 660 and LineageOS source code available in Github project page.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with extra spices and tweaks from Android community contributions. This custom firmware is so far the most popular alternative for many Android devices. being built from source, the flash-able zip file contains a fully working Android 8.1.0 ROM created with device specific vendor and kernel. Please never attempt to flash it on other device.

The developer mentions some features that work, including: Boots normally, VoLTE, RIL (Calls, SMS, Data), Fingerprint, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Camera, Camcorder, Video Playback, Audio, Sensors, Flash, LED, and GPS. Almost major things of the phone work just fine.

However, please expect some bugs since it is an unofficial build.

This ROM does not come with built-in Google Apps installed. Use this MindTheGapps package (choose ARM64) to have Play Store and associated apps installed.
