Xiaomi has managed to release a flagship killer phone under its sub-brand: the Pocophone. Its first phone that is named as Poco F1 is dubbed as a budget Android device with incredible speed. Thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and its liquid cooling technology. The device is getting many attentions from both enthusiasts and newbies around the world due to its unbelievable price-to-specification ratio. Its lowest variant is released around $300 and it makes the device as the first of its kind. There is no other phone powered with Snapdragon 845 priced within this price point. Maybe just yet.
The phone, which is just announced lately in August 2018, has just received the unofficial build of world’s best custom recovery, the TWRP. Important note: This unofficial build is still not bug-free. The “/data decryption” doesn’t work as of now so that it requires you to also wipe /data. Therefore, you must first backup all your important and sensitive data. We have a full detailed instruction for that. Please read: How to create full data backup on Android phone without root and without bootloader unlock. However, flashing custom binaries like TWRP requires you to modify system settings. This means you have to make sure that your phone bootloader is unlocked.
