MIUI Camera Mod and 4G LTE Fix for Redmi Note 3 (Kenzo/Kate)

Download a camera mod to tweak the stock MIUI camera app for Redmi Note 3 and is compatible with both Snapdragon variant (Kenzo) and MediaTek variant (Kate). This mod will enable fully manual control including manual exposure time (shutter speed), ISO, square mode, and focus adjustment. On top of that, the package also includes 4G LTE enabler. This will fix the not-working 4G LTE connection due to some issues.

This mod is flash-able through either TWRP or RWRP recovery and it requires no root access and hence you don’t need either Magisk or SuperSU. For your information, this tweak is just a script to unlock the basically-already-there features. It is not an app by itself. Basically, some advanced features have already been planted on the stock MIUI camera app but for some unknown reasons, the Xiaomi Developers opted to keep these features hidden.

Grab the mod from the link below. Please refer to the version of MIUI your phone currently running (Stable or Developer/Beta ROM).

How to install? Simply download the zip file into your phone and flash it through TWRP recovery. Please note that flashing custom recovery requires you to first unlock your phone bootloader. The full guide on how to do this is available here.

Again, please be aware that only Redmi Note 3/3 Pro (codename Kate/Kenzo) is compatible with this mod. Flashing it on a wrong device will get your device bricked.

Furthermore, if for some reasons you could not manage to use and to take the full advantage of this mod and you then decide to remove it, please use the following uninstaller script. Download and flash it through TWRP as well. Once flashed, the stock camera app will reset and will have the default features.
