You can now download this ported build of Mi A1 stock camera app. This app has been extracted and modified to make it compatible for Mi A1 device running any Oreo-based custom ROM. The app is extracted from the latest stock Android One Oreo 8.1. However, since it is a ported app, you may expect some bugs including not functioning shutter sound and the watermark feature.
Android One is good but some users prefer custom ROM such as LineageOS or AEX. However, many AOSP-based ROMs include default camera app. Android One on Mi A1, on the other hand, has been heavily tweaked and customized with features specific to the device’s specifications. Moreover, Xiaomi also invests more in improving the camera quality by establishing a special division for camera development.

How to install? The app comes as a ported app for a rooted device. That means you have to:
- Unlock your phone bootloader.
- Download TWRP Recovery.
- Download Magisk Root.
- Flash TWRP and root your phone.
- Download the above zip file.
- Flash it through TWRP Recovery.
