Magisk for Project Treble (Modded Systemless Root Tool)

Posted on June 9, 2018July 8, 2018 by Fariez N

Download Magisk system-less root tool for Android 8.x.x Project Treble ROM. This modded Magisk v16.4 is compatible to gain root access on devices running Treble-compatible ROM like LineageOS 15.1. The main advantage of using this instead of the original one is to survive OTA update which means easier and faster Android security patch update. Treble-enabled device is unique compared to older devices for its custom Vendor partition that allows seamless update.

Magisk, developed by Topjohnwu, is now a popular root package to replace the already-discontinued SuperSU. Instead, Magisk is better since it gains root access systemlessly. Hence, users can also hide the root status from specific apps that requires to run on an unrooted device (like Banking apps and some game apps).
